Where:

FNL (Loveland Fort Collins Airport) Firewall Forward Hanger 5235 Gulf Stream, Court. See map below

Program:
Cirrus Aircraft details with an aircraft on display

Minutes:

No minutes were turned in but the meeting was opened by Vice President Dave Nabors. We think we have re-elected Tom Barlow as president for 2006. He was not present at the meeting so it was easy to vote him in. A request for someone to do the February meeting program was made but no one stepped up. Also the dates and programs for next year are not set yet. We have some names and some activities but not set. Check below for program details. Dale was nice enough to host us again at Hair Design and brought cookies for all. Mike Bond brought Pizza. The program was on aircraft wiring via a CD program from John Szantho's collection. Joe Coply also displayed a full scale instrument panel done on the software he just bought. A member brought the panel out of his airplane but I missed who that was, sorry.

CAFE FOUNDATION WEBSITE -John Szantho
The CAFE Foundation makes comparative flight efficiency test on home built aircraft. This is a good place to start when looking into which aircraft you may want to build. The site lists the perfromance data on most popular home builts. Check it out!

Membership - Randy Treadwell
I hope we take the opportunity to encourage others interested in aviation to come to our meetings and be part of our group. I was not that hard for me to get to get three guys to come to the meetings and they have added a lot to the group. I would encourage each member to try to get one other person to come and see what we are about and I hope that with the programs they will find a interest and stay with the group.

Prez Sez -
I went flying with Tom again and snapped this photo. In most cases a photo is worth a 1000 words but this one only may be worth a couple.

Thanks for being a good sport Tom and I will fly with you any time - Randy

Happy Landings -
